Kingdom Initiative
Kingdom Initiative is the non-profit community outreach of Maranatha Community Church that is dedicated to enriching the lives of those in our community. Maranatha, along with a collaborative effort of local Churches and Community Centers of diverse cultures and denominations in Los Angeles County, have come together to postively support and impact those who are in need by providing food, hot meals, care packages, clothing, resources, health and dental screenings and more for individuals and families.

Pastor Steve loves God and loves God’s people, and Community Outreach is one of his biggest passions. He has been a member of Maranatha since its inception in 1980. He served by the side of its founder, Dr. Billy G. Ingram, as Executive Pastor and Praise and Worship Leader for 13 years. Soon after our beloved Pastor Billy was called home, Pastor Steve humbly accepted the charge as Senior Pastor. Pastor Steve along with his college sweetheart and wife, Reatha, has dedicated his life to leading, guiding, and caring for the flock. He works diligently at teaching scripture, equipping believers, reaching the lost, caring for those in need and continuing Maranatha’s legacy of steadfastness, and excellence, all for the glory of God. Pastor Steve is a staunch believer in Knowing Christ…, Making Him known… and spreading His Love, not only within the four walls of the church but also throughout the community and the world.
